Short notes about ordinary things that deserve a little more attention.
Take the long way
A familiar walk can feel new when we leave the headphones at home. Notice the light on the buildings, the sound of the trees, and which windows have plants. There is no distance to achieve and no route to record.
Keep a page nearby
Reading does not need a perfect afternoon. A few pages between other things are enough. Keep a book within reach and give a good sentence a moment before turning the page.
Leave a little space
A notebook is useful even when it is mostly empty. Write down a question, a small observation, or something to try tomorrow. Not every thought needs an answer straight away.
